FAVORITE NO-BOOZE BEVERAGE RECIPE'S
HONEY GRAHAM MILK SHAKE
Combine 4 crumbled graham crackers, 2 heaping scoops of chocolate ice cream, 2 cups milk, and 1/4 cup chocolate syrup. Mix in blender on high for 30 seconds.

MALTED MILK SHAKE
Add 1 Tbsp. malted milk powder to any of the milk shake recipies, before blending, to make a malted milk shake.

STRAWBERRY MILK SHAKE
Add 1/2 cup sweetened fresh or frozen strawberries to the Basic Milk Shake recipe before blending.

CAROB MILK SHAKE
Combine 4 Tbsp. carob powder, 2 Tbsp. honey (or to taste), 1/4 tsp. salt and 1 cup water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. Reduce the heat and add 1 qt. milk. Heat thoroughly, but do not allow to boil. Add 1 tsp. vanilla. Cool and refrigerate. Just before serving, beat until frothy and pour into chilled glasses. Makes 4 servings. Or, for a spicy carob shake, omit the vanilla and add 1/2 tsp. cinnamon and a dash of nutmeg before heating.

QUICK SHAKE
Combine 1 13-oz. can of chilled evaporated milk, 1 pint of vanilla ice cream that has been cut into chunks and 1/2 cup of instant cocoa. Blend on high until thick and smooth. Serve immediately. Makes 4 or 5 servings.
